    1863 US Army Regulations Manual of Major Henry Adams 11th Maine Vols. This is an original field carried regulations manual carried by Adana while with the 11th Maine. This unit was well engaged during the war and saw many battles. This would have been Adams who was a 1st Lieutenant and eventually a Major. The manual is solid with bubbling in the front cover from weather. It survived the war and came home with Adams. His signature is in the front of the manual with his unit. Anything from the 11th Maine is extremely scarce. Guaranteed original. Last photo is a photo of Adams and is from an internet archive and does not come with the manual. Notice his signature on cabinet card is a dead on match to the one in his manual.
