    Description

1920s Grebe Synchrophase Radio Receiver Model MU-1.
A really good sounding TRF Neutrodyne Battery Radio.
My Father used to listen this one quite a bit but I had not seen it used in several years before he passed away.
4 tubes are included, not sure where the 5th one went but he was always using different radios and
probably at some point had pulled the tube out. I believe it still worked but he had over 40 radios
and some others had become his favorites. Tubes are untested.
This is an early non chain drive model, and everything inside is in great functional shape.
I believe this is the first version and would have been m
    ade somewhere between 1924-25
    Each Condensor operates independantly.
Note that the escutcheons for filament and volume only have "Increase" on top and "Filament" on the bottom, something that changed during during or after 1925.
This shows typical age & used related external wear but has not been abused.
    See pictures for more details.
    Dimensions are aprx. 23" w x 13.5" d x 9.5" h.
    Weighs aprx 25 lbs.
Since I cant guarantee it works as I have no way to currently test it, I'll sell it as not working,
but there is a high likelihood it will work, as my father used this radio frequently for quite a few years.
This will be extremely well packed for safe shipping.
Tubes will all be shipped removed, immobilised, and well bubble wrapped inside the main compartment.
I use lots of Bubble wrap, rigid foam and large cardboard boxes.
I have been selling stereo equipment (tube and solid state) for years on Ebay,
and I occasionally sold tube radios and test equipment for my father when he was alive too.
Please check my feedback and buy with confidance.
My items are always accurately described to the best of my ability.
This was from my late father's antique radio collection.
I will be listing many other radios and parts over the next few months,
see my store for more of what is available.
    Shipping via FedEx Ground.
