Here is a rare, vintage Alabama souvenir ironstone plate by Vernon Kilns. It is 10 1/2" in diameter and is marked "Vernon Kilns U.S.A." along with the Alabama coat-of-arms with paragraph on the back. With the exception of a small rust spot on back the plate is in great condition with no visible signs of chips or cracks. It features: Samford Hall at Auburn, Vulcan - Birmingham's Mighty Man of Iron, Wilson Dam at Muscle Shoals, Bellingrath Gardens - on the Azaleas Trail, Mobile - Where Ships Sail the Seven Seas, Denny Chimes at the University of Alabama - Home of the Crimson Tide, and State Capitol at Montgomery, Cradle of the Confederacy.
