    Description

    We are offering this American 1873 .45 70 Springfield Trapdoor rifle bayonet and scabbard. The blade of our bayonet is 18" and the overall length is a bit over 21 5/8".  The socket is almost exactly 2 3/4".  The bayonet comes with its original scabbard which is missing the leather belt attachment. As can be seen, the bayonet is rusty and it was hard to retrieve any markings on the ricasso except what might be the numbers 94 over 9(9?)
