You are viewing an Anchor Hocking Waffle Pattern Round Clear Glass Butter Dish with Cover. This covered butter dish measures approximately 6 1/2" wide by 4 " tall.
The Waterford Waffle pattern was made by Anchor Hocking from 1938-1944 and is considered Depression Glass by collectors.
It is in very good+ condition. There are no visible cracks, chips, wear-marks, stains or dishwasher etching.
Dishwasher etching is the cloudy residue with pitting that forms on softer, quality glass because of the chemical action of dishwasher detergents. Dishwasher cleaning will also fade colors. This and all fine glass pieces should be hand washed using a mild detergent or soap.
