Antique 1800's gadget wooden cane stool

Description

Nice condition ? tiger maple hand made gadget walking stick that is also functions as a stool. Has an iron hex nut which do date to the 1800's and before and may be from the south as the wood appears to be tiger maple. Has an old museum or collection number ID painted on to the base. Interesting old piece. Some minor wear and scuffs consistent with age. Bottom cone is metal .Could work as a seed hole maker, but I think it was for balance. Open to offers.
