Antique Civil War Diorama/model. Condition is "Used".
This was definitely made years ago by a Civil War Collector. This item is in great shape all handmade. The diorama is a Civil War fort. Notice the cannon ball shot in the front of the fort. Made with it appears to be Oak wood. Solid brass Cannon… All handmade. (does not fire). There are Fragments of artillery shell… Soldier bleeding out! Very detailed model! The brass Cannon does swing left to right. There are some Original Civil War round balls as cannon balls. Very cool item!
The measurements are 18 1/2“ x 15“. The height is about 8 inches. The total weight is 18 pounds.
The Rodman cannon is just under 8 inches.
This is possibly a scene reflecting a sea fort? Is it fort Sumter?
