This auction is for an Antique framed Civil War Escutcheon Army of the Potomac presented to New Jersey Union Soldier 1st Sergeant Richard J Wardell. Very detailed piece, with all the listed battles and dates the 3rd New Jersey and 5th New Jersey Vol. INF were engaged in. Some of the famous battles listed were Gettysburg, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Bull Run, among many many others. Shows quite a bit of staining, discoloration and wear. Appears to be have quite a few rips and folds. Still a very beautiful and interesting piece. Including frame measures approx. 24 1/2 inches long x 17 1/4 inches wide.  Feel free to ask any questions.
