    Description

    For sale is an antique Civil War Model 1850 Foot Officer's sword by Schuyler Hartley Graham New York with a decorated blade. Piece is in great overall condition for its age, blade has no chips. It does have some patina to the handguard and wear to the finish on the blade. Handguard is a floral or clover pattern and the blade is etched. We believe the handguard is by Shelbe & Fisher. Maker's mark is located near the crossguard. Hilt is wire wrapped and covered in an a pebbled (possibly sharkskin) leather. Also included is a period hanger from a scabbard.
