    Vintage Atwater Kent Model 55 Radio with type F4 Speaker. This rare find from 1929 with matching speaker seems complete. The unit is in working condition. I recently
    (today)
    plugged it in... even though the A/C cord has the ‘cloth’ type, slightly scary looking, but intact,
    insulation
    (I mean, it is 90+ years old!).
    I flipped the switch…
    It fired up, all the tubes glowed, and the speaker started humming. I didn’t turn any knobs but music was coming out of the speaker. This is the
    ‘forest green’
    model and the metal cabinet is in good shape (scratches and dust) as is the speaker enclosure.
    It is a great looking radio and gets so many compliments. We are moving to the east coast and sadly, cannot take everything. We hope someone else can enjoy displaying the radio as much as we do.
