Authentic 1865 Civil War Indian Cent & Thick Type 1859-64 Indian Cent Date Worn

You are bidding on two authentic Civil War Indian cent coins that circulated during the Civil War.  First is an 1865 bronze Indian Cent minted the last year of the war. The second coin is a thick Indian cent that is worn without date but by the thickness it can be identified as minted between 1859 and 1864.  These were also known as white indian cents as they were struck in copper and 12% nickel. A neat piece of history and each one is over 150 years old.  These coins are worn from many years of circulation and may have a few scratches or dings You would too if you were 150 plus years old!  When I hold one of these it makes me think of how life was back then.  During the Civil War US coins were hoarded  as they are in this pandemic. This would be a great Christmas gift for a historian or a Civil War military reenactment party.  Again this is for two authentic Indian cents one 1865 and one thick 1859-64 type with date worn.  The winning bidder will receive the exact coins in the picture.
