    Description

    Genuine Civil War .58 caliber cartridge box and sling made by C.S. Storms of New York. The box itself is in decent, hardened condition with its full sling intact minus one latch. The end of the sling that is broken off also has a repair to the leather via glue a few inches above. Other than that there are a few leather tears here and there. One roller buckle is detached but is present within the box. The closure tab is also broken off. No box plate is present. Signs of an old eagle plate are also evident by two holes on the sling. Tins are MIA. The CS Storms maker mark is visible on the side of the box below the ear flap. Please see pictures for condition. A pretty decent surviving box and selling as is.
