The red connections on the
left are Antenna & ground.
The post on the right are for headphones. They will
accommodate
two types of headphone connection
s.
The lever mounted to the right side of the coil, changes coils.
Straight up uses both windings
together
. Moved slightly to the right
uses a single coil. It
doesn't
make much of a difference here
where I live for a number or reasons but it may help clarify
a station in other locations in the world.
The brass knob to the left of the large coil also
controls
a fine tuning
coil
(not to be
twisted more then a 1/4 of an inch from the bottom)
This
radio works very well in my location and with my antenna.
