meant for medium-format cameras weighing up to 11 lb (5 kg) when pan/tilt head rigidity is needed. This is possible because of the large diameter precision-milled ball employed in conjunction with a variable-drag locking system to accommodate a wide range of camera payloads. An independent pan lock with gradations facilitates stitched panoramas, and the broad circular camera stage with a knurled edge ensures a tight, wobble-free connection.
