    I have a vast amount of estate items I've bought over the last 25 plus years. Some are recent purchases and many are decades old. There are fewer and fewer estate auctions than there were in years past. Items are becoming much harder to find. If you purchase this item, I hope you are happy and enjoy it.

    RARE CIVIL WAR ABOLITIONIST ZACH. T. SHUGART STENCIL "Underground Railroad Conductor" VG. I'VE HAD CIVIL WAR SOLDIER STENCIL'S BEFORE BUT TO FIND ONE BY AN ABOLITIONIST IS VERY RARE. Your bidding on stencil only but part of newspaper and copied google info are included. The stencil is ZACH. T. SHUGART. I don't know if shugart was a friend or relative of the fanily. He isn't on the C. 10th IOWA VOL. INF. roster. This was wrapped up in a piece of old BELLE PLAINE, IOWA NEWSPAPER. This came out of a civil war estate sale of WM. H. STODDARD relatives. He was in the C. 10th IOWA VOL. INF. Metal construction. Measures 1 & 3/8 X 2 & 3/4".
