Civil War Confederate Cannonball

First of all this is really a Mortar shell but some at Ebay does not really know the difference and will not let me list it like the 190 other cannonballs that are listed the only difference is how it was shot. Years ago in 1970 when in the NAVY myself and a few others on the ship were divers while in Charleston S.C. we used to dive for Charleston Distillery Bottles when I came across this Confederate 70 pound Mortar Round filled with mud and no fuse so I knew it was safe. It's in great condition for being under water and mud all those years and also got me off to a new collection of Civil War items but fifty one years later I now will be selling off my collection starting with this Mortar Round. Ask questions before bidding so we have no problems at the auctions end and if you bid you just may own her so be careful as you do ask before you push that button and thanks.
