    Description

    Original Civil War Era, bandsman three-piece flute with its original wooden case.   Does show age and use.  Verdigris has formed on some pieces.  It has a crack near the mouthpiece and one of the buttons has broken off.  I'm not sure if it plays or what exact key it is.  Unmarked.  Unknown manufacturer.  Case is a solid wood and is lined with blue velvet.  The case measures 11-1/2" long X 5-1/2" X 2".  The flute itself measures 26-3/4" long when completely assembled.
