    Description

    Civil War Medical Kit Tourniquet Buckle Missing the Central Bar from Extreme Movement of Wounded Soldier.
    I dug this one in the vicinity of the Battle of Chickamauga.
    This one is not a type that I am familiar with.
    Most likely the center bar was pulled loose by a wounded soldier who was pulling extremely hard against his extreme pain. This one was found about 100 feet from the other tourniquet buckle that I have listed.
