    A nice dug Dug Civil War Era Brass 2-Piece Button from a Early CS Campsite in the outskirts of New Orleans in South Louisiana!  Excavated back in the late 80s by my dad and a couple of his relic hunting friends!
    A military style brass button!  Plain on front with no manufacturer on back! This one has a nice patina!  A lot of soldiers in the Confederate Army supplied their own uniforms including buttons early in the war!
    These artifacts have been in my dad's personal collection of Civil War relics he dug over the last 60 years and I hate to get rid of them but it's time to downsize his relic room!
    Button is in great shape for over 140 plus years of being in the ground but please view all the photos and you be the judge of condition!
