    Description

    Up for bid is a Rare Barrel Assembly for a Confederate manufactured Revolver. Due to some ground action, the serial numbers are not visible---however, the manufacture of the barrel with a combination of both octagonal and round pieces makes it absolutely a Confederate manufactured piece. I cant be certain, but based on manufactured numbers, it is most likely a product of Griswold and Gunnison. The barrel assembly is frozen and displays great. This piece was found on private property with the permission of the land owner near the battle of the Wilderness.
