    Description

Here's a neat medallion bearing the bust of Hercules we dug up in a Union winter camp near White Oak, in Stafford, Va. It shows the bust of the bearded legend and the word "Hercule". I assume it was being worn as a neck charm, as it is holed. It's got a great looking front, and a plain back. I've never seen another like it. People of the time were enamored with all things Greek. You can see it in their jewelry and even their architecture A neat little inexpensive item to add to your relic collection. Plmk if I an provide any further info or photos. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible, as long as you wait for me to invoice you. Thanks for looking, and stay safe.
