    Description

    Here's a beautiful porcelain reed pipe dug from a trash pit in the camp of the 63rd New York Regiment of the Irish Brigade in Stafford, Va. You can find a lot of pipes, but a porcelain pipe is rare by comparison. This one is flawless...no cracks, chips, etc. These were expensive in their day, but generally outlasted the clay pipes. A real beauty from a famous regiment to add to your relic collection. Plmk if I can provide any further info or photos.
