    Description

    Identified Civil War Soldier's Personal Wood Cased Mirror. This mirror was carried most likely through the war and was a cheerished part of the soldier's personal gear.  it is made from wood, maybe walnut.  One side of the mirror has the remaining pieces of the mirror and the other side has period writing that appears to be written as: "Geo A Hoc" ?and "PVT".  I am nit really able ro tell what all it says.  It also has what appears to be the date of "1862".  I have no doubt that there us information on this soldier.  Very neat piece with a personal attatchment.  Condition is "Used".
