We are pleased to offer a large and impressive silverplated side pour coffee pot from Mallow Hotels.  Based in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, H R Mallow ran a hotel management company.  There is not a great deal of information on the company, but it appears that Mallow managed the famous Sterling Hotel in Wilkes-Barre that opened in 1897 and may have been used there.
This piece has an acorn finial and features a perforated insulator on the handle that Reed & Barton was seeking a patent for at the time the pot was made.  The piece is large and heavy with a 52 ounce capacity.  It was made prior to 1928 when Reed & Barton started using date symbols on their holloware.

Condition:
Very good - minor wear and scratches but much less than usually  typical of hotel plate.  There is an old repair on the hinge on top (see photo).
Size:
9 1/2" tall, handle is 7 1/2" long, 6" diameter at the base.
