The box is maker marked R. Nece Philadelphia and you can read the word inspector but not the name on the interior flap. The box is stiff and not very pliable, and the closing strap is gone, though the interior strap is present but unattached. The back of the box is good with both straps intact and firmly sewed on, but the carrying strap is gone. There is considerable cracking on the front and top of the box. All in all, a decent looking box that needs some help
