Check my other auctions for more dug relics from New Mexico. This relic was part of a large collection accumulated by a man from Socorro, NM(now deceased) who used to metal detect around Fort Craig NM (1854-1888) in the 1950's-1960's. Large fancy brass escutcheon plate/keyhole cover, made of brass, in nice dug condition. The large padlock that this was attached to was probably made of steel. Measures approx. 1 3/8" diameter not including the eagle. Great display item! Always glad to combine shipping if you win more than one auction. Thanks for bidding!
