    Description

    I hesitated about listing this due to the sea of fakes on eBay! But note I unconditionally guarantee and stand behind this original late 1800's-early 1900's veterans hat!
    Period straw hat with original band ribbon and unmarked sweat band. Lining has worn, hat is solid.
    The brass Palmetto  tree is modeled after the wartime badge and very close but has cotter pin style loops for attachment. It has clearly tested on this hat for many many years. The badge is worth the opening bid!
