    Original Small Simple Iron Door Lock, surface mounted, deadlock. 19th Century.
    Not sure on exact age, could be closer to beginning of 19th Century.
    Photo 2 open Bar photo 3 closed Bar. Small Brass Knob moves bar. The key in the one of the 2 small opening keeps the Barr closed. Any 19th century key will work with lock that has a pin hole in centre of key. Weight at Post is over 1 pound.
    A very strong looking slide Lock showing age. The Iron has nice patina look.
    Measurement is inches 7.0" Length with bar sticking out a touch, 2.25" inches Width.
