The Ultra rare German Radio Schuchhardt 2Z from 1928 is a compact two-circuit receiver with the option of loudspeaker reception, also for remote transmitters.
The necessary loudspeaker, lead battery, anode battery and grid voltage battery had to be purchased separately at the time. Not included in this listing
The company Schuchhardt AG was founded in 1886 by Ferdinand Schuchhardt as the Berliner Fernsprech- und Telegraphenwerk. From 1921 it is an Aktiengesellschaft (AG). The emphasis is on telephony installations, the radio sets are developed by Prof. Leith user and sold from 1923 by the Berlin company Allradio.
In 1929 SEL takes over the company and no new radio sets are developed anymore.

The "Duotron" lamps were invented by the company Kramolin, which marketed a number of models with these tubes from 1926 onwards. Kramolin called these double triod "Pentatrons" because they are equipped with 5 elements. The manufacturer of the tubes is TeKaDe. Later Telefunken and Valvo also started producing such tubes
