    Extremely rare and historically significant OTS
    Nickel-silver
    Bass Saxhorn.  Visible repairs, patches and replacement parts visible in the photos. The Bass saxhorn are the rarest and largest of all OTS saxhorns measuring 52" in length. Judging from all the repairs. It's quite possible this was used in a regiment during the civil war.
