    Description

    RARE, original handcarved Civil War and earlier soldier's hair comb.  In the early days before modern plastics many things like these were made from horns of certain animals like this one.  Excellent overall condition.  Has a slight bow to it which is likely the natural curve of what ever type of horn that was used.  Measures 6-1/4 inches long by 1-7/8 inches wide.  Please judge condition for yourself by the pictures.  Perfect addition to any Civil War "smalls" collection.
