We are pleased to offer a set of 11 lovely silverplated demitasse spoons from Schrafft's.  The company began as a candy manufacturer in Boston.  In 1898, one of its salesmen opened a candy store in New York City and eventually began to serve light lunches.  The chain ended up with more than 50 sites in New York State and larger East Coast cities.  The restaurants were known to have a genteel style which appealed to many middle class housewives who did their shopping in the department stores in the cities.
These spoons are wonderful.  They have a fabulous Art Nouveau style pattern that was made by Oneida exclusively for the iconic restaurants.

Condition:
Very good - they have much less than the usual wear and scratches typical of hotel plate.  They are unmarked as to maker which is typical for these.
