This is a brand new, high quality thermometer for contact temperature measurements. It has one input for K-type thermocouples and can display the temperature in 0.1° steps.
It can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces with high precision.
It is also great for science projects and whenever you need a precise measurement of temperatures.
It comes with one 3 ft (1 m) temperature probe, this has a glass fiber insulation and works up to about 500°F (260°C) , but any other K-type probe with miniature thermocouple connector can be used. To use the thermometer for temperatures above 500 degree F you would need a special thermocouple with a ceramic insulation (not included).
