    Description

All of this material was dug at "Chacahoula Station" in 1986 near the Railroad.  The site was occupied twice by the CSA and three times the Union.  This all took place as the Union made their march from New Orleans to Brashier City (now Morgan City, La) while the CSA tried to stop them.  All of this occurred along the "New Orleans & Great Western" Railroad.  There "MAY" be a mixture of bullets from both armies.  The shield nickle is post-war and dated 1869.  The small coin button does not look like it was part of the military material.  All of this is authentic and found at the location described.  I dug them.  A used Riker Mount is included.
