US Model 1861 Springfield pattern musket lock, C. D. Schubarth 1863 Civil War

Because the Baltimore Gun Show has been cancelled for the second year in a row I am listing some of my rarer duplicate locks here on eBay. It pains me to do so, but this is the place where you guys look for stuff. I'll just have to deal with their higher fees and usual harassment....like just having to edit out my real opinion so this listing would post!   This listing is for a Casper D. Schubarth Providence RI, Model 1861 complete lock in Very Fine to Excellent condition. There is light surface staining on top of the bright armory polish, this is truly an untouched example and it shows   Removing all the surface scale might leave a few patches of micro pitting especially toward the nose of the plate.  There is a ring where the hammer face once contacted a nipple but no sign of much use including on the inside.  Despite the numbers produced there are relatively scarce.  There are two versions of the Schubarth.  This is the one with a larger Schubarth and  smaller Providence.  The other variation has the reverse.
After collecting Civil War locks for over 50 years I have a complete set; save two extremely rare ones.  "US TAUNTON"  and "US PROVIDENCE".  I have a damaged "Providence" plate, but not a complete lock.  I
