VINTAGE 1920s TUBE RADIO WOOD BOX FOR PARTS RESTORATION ???

Description

Huge antique wood tube radio box. Very cool piece of early electronic equipment. The box weighs over 22 lb. and measures 27" x 9" x 12". The lid opens and it has electronic components inside. Wires are cloth covered. The knobs appear to be brown bakelite and I'd date the box from the 1920s or 30s. It looks a lot like the Atwater Kent receiving sets, but since it is unmarked I can't say for sure. The box is in very good condition with no cracks or breaks, although there is one big knob and possibly a small one missing. It would be a great piece for display, art, or restoration. The wood is so heavy that it must be oak or mahogany. Overall a very cool piece of radio history. Thanks for looking.
