    Description

    W. T. Copeland Roma Pattern Neoclassical Border 10 1/2 Inch Plate C.1867-1890
    Rare ironstone dinner plate in the Roma pattern by Copeland. Decorated with a neoclassical border in ocher, red, green and black. It has an impressed crown over Copeland mark on the back, as well as an overglaze W. T. Copeland & Sons mark with a bee and the pattern name Roma. This mark was used between 1867 and 1890. Also marked with the pattern number in red.
    The plate has a lot of usage wear and a few small glaze flakes to the edge, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide.
