    Description

    War Log Fredericksburg Battlefield. This log was recovered from a tree at Fredericksburg. It has a Civil War Bullet flatted and embedded in it. The log measures 11 inches by 6 inches. Nice solid piece that is well preserved. You don’t see them this size anymore. It’s difficult to tell what type of Bullet this is as it hit hard and flattened on impact. It might be a Minie ball, Roy s ball or possibly a cleaner round. It is solidly embedded in the wood. The piece was heavily coated years ago to prevent from deteriorating. This piece came from another dealer in Pennsylvania who had it in his collection for years.
