Beautifully hand made teal chiffon folk dance costume - eastern Europe? Costume consists of a tunic, balloon pants, and long scarf. Tunic is princess-seamed, bodice is fully lined, pullover style with ties in back, trimmed with faux jeweled buttons and 4 rows of metallic braid and embroidery at the hem on a contrasting hot pink band. Pants are balloon (harem) style with full hips, very long legs, fastened at ankle opening with snap closures, with simple cord drawstring adjustment at waist. Very skilled construction, custom made by professional costumer. Tunic and scarf are polyester chiffon; pants are chiffon with a full lining. Scarf has an attached comb (see photo).
Measurements:
Tunic: 34" at underarm; 28" waist; 20.5" sleeve, shoulder to hem; 35" length
, shoulder to hem.
Pants: 43" maximum waist; 42" hip at fullest part; 50" leg outseam.
